Calebs on those good pills!! Lol.
In todays 450 you can almost do anything with it. They arecso versatile.
2 stroke for tight, tight woods. 4 stroke for everything else. Look at all the gncc guys, no one runs 2 strokes.

4:34 there was no way that happened on coincidence I was wondering where that was going

Those odi grips are really common here in finland, was a little suprised seeing those

The am-pro factory Yamaha 450 gncc racers run G2 throttle cams. They help mellow out the power delivery> I know one of the pros runs the 400x, which is the most tame cam. It helps them hang on for their 3h race, u should try them.

Mmmmm, DONUTS!!! Kincade, you punk!!! Now I gotsta make a cuppa and grab a donut!!
Trials zone!! I saw several nice sections out there, Kincade.
That lovely bike thanks you for oil changes at the appropriate interval. Break in oil, outta there after a good day of dirtin!!
Those fuel line connectors... A q-tip with sparkplug grease, every time!!! Every time. (dieelectric silicone grease) Next time you have to service the fuel system, it is much easier and it preserves the o rings. .8 gallons sounds small but that is nearly a bloody gallon and your bike likes having a larger capacity Camelbak!! Good range extender.
Mend well, Caleb!! Annnnnd, never piss your bike off cause they can get spicy!!

Install a KTM kickstand rubber holder to keep the stand from flopoing down on big hits. Super easy to do. The hole will be where your wifi unit is. Drill the hole smaller than the diamiter of the rubber and it will self seal the hole. I ride nothing but woods in the Midwest, lots of creeks and mud. Yet no water gets to the wifi unit.

I just picked up a near new, vet ridden 23 350xcf with 16 hours, your praise on the 350 sold me on it. Glad to see the 450 coming together bro

Always look forward to your vids, they get an immediate thumbs up
Just got rid of my 05 Rmz450 and picked up a project 09 yz250 2 stroke
Needs way more work than I was hoping but I’ve always been a yz fan and it’s one of the few bikes I’ve regretted getting rid of
If anyone has a used cylinder that’s in good shape get ahold of me lol

Kincade this is a weird question but I fouled a plug on my ktm 200 XCw and then it starts, and I drive off and go 20 feet then it dies and repeat would you know the cause of this?
April 22 2025
When you say $190 a set do you mean for the front and rear or just for the rear and when you said that bulletproof design parts are backed by a lifetime warranty, does that mean if I break them by hitting a rock or something, and send them back, you will give me a new pair?

You can ask someone that uses imp3d to make you one toll for the steering lock nut that you can use a socket and ratchet tool for many Japanese bikes. Cheers from Portugal
April 22 2025
Nice build KP I cut my Allen shorter for the fork guards. The tool stays in the moto tool box. Also if you don’t have a big Allen to take off the ignition cap use the head of a 1/2” bolt maybe 9/16”. Keep up the cool vids.

Also I did notice the hydraulic clutch swap, but I would also like to ask if you have ever heard of 1FNGR easy pull clutch, they clam to make a cable clutch feel like a hydraulic clutch for half the price of the $300. Just some suggestions and ideas to look into for another build.

Love your vids kincade I know what you mean with the fork guards there a pain I have a similar bike

I had several older cars that had similar front wheel bearings. Doing brakes on those taught me how to pack a bearing. We actually learned in CVAE class (small motor and shop class) in Jr. High. I hope they still have those classes! Had all kinds of cool automotive projects.

I have a 25 yz450fx. I am currently running the factory maps and like map1 (all zeros). Where are you finding the map6 and other maps?
April 22 2025
Nice bike! But after watching you work on it, I’ve realized that KTMs Torx bolts spoiled me. Lol

I changed the seat on my 25 wr as well to a guts wide seat with the soft foam, its sooo comy. also a tip on the fuel cap I put the guts cover over the stock one as well but i used a washer where the pin goes through makes a clean install.
