I am not a fan of Bermuda shorts either, but because of my religious beliefs finding shorts long enough is a struggle, especially since I’m 5’10”. In fact I usually don’t wear shorts, but living in South Texas sometimes you just gotta.

Sorry,but Bermuda shorts and capris are WAY better on age 50 or above women who have bigger thighs, varicose veins, or spider veins, than seeing them in a pair of too short daisy dukes tryna be young!

I will take the aging, out of style look over the chub rub and ride up that happens on anything shorter. Also, that second example is just a little above the knee, so why are different? Plus, finding anything in between Bermuda and shorty short buttcheck shorts is impossible!

Some of us wear them because we want to be modest and not wear pants. Because of my religion I dress modestly. But in a worldly view I understand your feelings. And as a older woman I don’t want shorts that are short because I am not trying to look young. But put together and modest.

Absolutely do not agree! I am 70…trust me, the public does not want to see these legs in short shorts. I am only 4’8” and find the perfect length is a few inches above the knee. With a proper fit, they can be styled quite nicely and casual chic. Fabric, cut, and style are key to creating a great look. I do have a bit shorter shorts, that look great when standing, but sitting ….not so much

I know you need to come up with content but there are those out there that are more modest. Or have larger thighs, or are at an age where we’d rather look silly in bermudas than accused of not knowing when to roll it in.

Its disgusting seeing some young girls wearing shorts so tight and super short that their butt hangs out. No- one wants to see that. Likewise no-one wants to see an older woman wearing short shorts. Just above the knee or a bit below looks far more agr appropriate. I gave up shorts completely and now only wear cute sundresses .

I wear them for modesty.
But I wonder if they might still be in style anyway? Bermuda shorts are being sold at H&M - in the area for younger shoppers. They are an over-sized version though.

Bermuda length shorts are in style, just not the tight fitting ones. I’ve seen old people wear short shorts and honestly sometimes the knees just are not as flattering when you are old, better to cover them if they are all wrinkly and strange looking. Wear what you like people and what flatters you might be different than others or the trends and that’s okay

There are very chic suit bermudas with ironed pleats, cargo bemudas, flowy bermudas that look like skirts, I recently saw Teens in wide leg denim bermudas and now I want a pair...
But you chose a picture of an elderly woman in a simple pair styled horribly.
Woman, looking old is about style, you do not have to keep up with trends.

I had the nerve to disagree with her and she removed my comment. I felt she is saying something is out of style because she is steering you to buy what she feels is better, that she gets paid commission on. Unethical.
