this was the string that dominic thiem was supposedly using during his win at 2019 indian wells. obviously babolat was unhappy with this and thiem has now switched to a babolat string which is possibly rpm power

Thanks for the review. Chris, I noticed that you have a leather grip on your TF40 305. This should add approximately 10g to the weight compared to a synthetic grip, and move the balance about 1cm or 3pts towards the tail. Hence, the specs will be very close to the TF40 315 except that the swing-weight will be higher. [As an aside, do you know what that SW is now?] Therefore, I would be very interested in your thoughts on this modified 305 compared to a stock TF40 315. Do you find the TF40 315 has insufficient SW or are there other differences you have found? Thanks very much for your consideration. Olly.
