Buy nano if for some reason you can't see the screen well despite having brightness with the strength of the sun on your ipad. Basically it's just a marketing money grab which makes your screen colors dull. Hard pass.

I bought the matte display on the steam deck. Major regret. Unless you are a professional who needs it for a specific use case it’s not worth it

Standard Glass > Nano.
If you use it outside a lot then Nano.
But for me I use it inside my house at my desk usually. Or I watch movies on my bed. I'd much rather have the rich contrast and let that beautiful OLED display show its true colors. Not hinder it with a display that's meant to deflect sun outside that weakness the contrast, blacks, and colors.

I dunno. Gotta check these out in person. Altho it looks like the Nano texture screen does cut down the glare dramatically… it also seems like it dulls down the colors too. Especially those pure blacks, which kinda defeats the purpose of an OLED screen.

The matte looks like a regular led screen. The black doesn't look black.

I hope one day glossy screens can be non-glare...they're just so much more vibrant with deep blacks. Matte destroys the clarity but yes, I need mine to work well under glare and in sunlight. :(

it’s a trade off, less vibrant image, but no reflections, i think it’s good that Apple add this option, I personally do not like reflections, they’re distracting and annoying

Glossy by far, spend less money, and if you want the matte anti-reflective coating just buy a screen protector

It's also just a preference because glossy does make the blacks look deeper but the downside is it's like a mirror
