Principais Características:Eryseng Parvo é indicada para imunização ativa tanto de fêmeas suínas, quanto de suínos.
Mas, a proteção apresentada age de forma diferente em cada suíno.
Desse modo, a imunização ativa tem as seguintes ações:Em Suínos:Prevenção de sinais clínicos e lesões provocadas pela erisipela suína do tipo 1 e 2 do sorotipo.
Em Fêmeas suínas:Proteção da descendência contra a infecção transplacentária provocada por parvovírus suíno.
Além disso, nos suínos ela também atua na prevenção da leptospirose.
Modo de Uso:A Vacina deve ser administrada via intramuscular, sendo a aplicação feita no pescoço.
Aplicar uma dose de 2 mL por injeção.
-Vacinação básica: A vacinação básica deve ser feita em suínos a partir de 6 meses de idade que não foram vacinados previamente.
Desse modo, eles devem receber duas doses da vacina com um intervalo de 3 a 4 semanas.
-Segunda dose: já a segunda dose precisa ser aplicada 3 a 4 semanas antes do acasalamento.
-Revacinação: A revacinação deve ser feita 2 a 3 semanas antes do acasalamento subsequente em dose única.

I just got a 5 month old puppy last week. He has had those three vaccines which according to the AKC list are considered the core vaccines. Then there is the list of optional or lifestyle vaccines. I am going to pass on those. I had a brief moment of considering the Lepto vaccine but have decided to decline this too. I’m in the suburbs and my dog is small and will never be in the woods or near bodies of water. My dog will never be boarded either.
Your point about fear is very valid. Of course I have some fear—I want to do right by my pup!! It can be hard to know what to do!! I have heard bad things about the Lepto vaccine and also that it is not very effective . Thank you for your level headedness

If you don’t see distemper often it shouldn’t be required as a core vaccine

I absolutely agree that most people over vaccinate. I do strongly disagree with the rabies at 16 weeks! There are so many tests that show the mother’s immune strength is high till 9 -12 months. It also ( Thank you) lasts much longer that state laws demand. Also, if they “seed” for rabies for wild animals then why, besides $ do we keep being told to vaccinate constantly

My dog was fully vaccinated and suppose to have a shot annaul parvodistemper this may. But he was now diagnosed having distemper. I am really sad and broken hearted now. I still hoping that we will survive this battle

Does she still need Rabie & ,parvo shots ?
