I have this Jacket (Mountain Ops) and today in Canada air tempature was -40°C and with wind was -52°C. this jacket is stellar. Warm entire time out side. and was outside for more then 45 mins a time not moving much and stayed warm. my only gripe with the jacket, wish the hood had a larger opening to accommodate my fur trapper hat on my head and not push it up when the hood is down.

I have this jacket in black. Need another one as I got bigger. Hard to believe this colour is med indigo. Looks more navy than the colour on the website

Little review: If you need help with sizing hope this helps! I am so glad to finally have found a jacket that comes in tall sizes!!! I am not extremely tall but have very long arms. I usually have to go with a large on ANYTHING I purchase. If it’s sweatshirts or jackets. Because the sleeves do not fit in medium size. Large sucks in sweatshirts and jackets because it’s so loose on my body. But my god. This company has Medium tall!!!! It fits perfectly. I am a 5”11 male 130 pounds. And this thing fits amazingly. Nice and snug. I have absolutely 0 complaints. I live in MN and was outside for 30 minutes in -30 F weather to shovel my driveway. And this thing kept me toasty!!! It is absolutely amazing. I got this at 50% from the year end sale and my god was it worth it. Was previously looking at an $800 Canada goose jacket. And this is way better. 1. The look of it I love it. 2. The amount of pockets. 3. THE SIZE IS PERFECT. 4. The damn quality!!! It’s a very good material very warm and haven’t had any feathers poke through anything so far and I don’t think it’ll happen! Super easy to wash and take care of. Usually down smells bad after washing it but somehow this doesn’t! This jacket is a 10/10 purchase for me. And if your on the edge of “should I buy this. Do I need this? Is there anything better” the answer is YES you need this YES you need to buy this and NO there is nothing better. The price is insanely low for the amount of quality and warmth you get from this!!!!

Any parka that can be so warm that there is no snow is unlikely to be any good. Real bad sign when someone from New York tries to sell you on a parka.

Got this in olive color for $150. I only wear mine when the temps are 20 degrees F or lower. Very warm.

I bought this coat for $180 on a 50% off in about 1987. I have worn it ever since, 36 years now. No holes, still warm in all conditions down to maybe a real -10 degrees. Very comfortable up to 50 degrees F. My jacket had buttons where his uses velcro and I have hand warmer pockets where he has zipper on the chest pockets. The wool ruff is long gone as are the buttons and I have a large metal main zipper. This is a killer jacket. Will turn 66 next month and will own this till the day I die. Comfortable as a down comforter.

Update: I still have this jacket. I love it. Since this initial purchase I purchased 2 more jackets in different colors because it’s THAT good! @eddiebaur you make a fantastic parka and I hope that you are in business forever
