  • Just chanced upon this and I really like it. Was that a standard international converter in the pen? I’m guessing it wasn’t included with the pen. Anyway, this would compete very well with the F-C Loom, don’t you think? I’d take this over the Lamy Safari or the Pilot MR every day of the year. But then I never bought those pedestrian pens.

I am a fan of the Pelikan entry level pens... especially their student pens.

Waski nice to see Pelikan lower end pens are well made and have some descent quality about them. And as you said the nib is smooth. Excellent thank you for another interesting review looking forward to the next.

Faber-Castell have just launched a low-cost fountain pen that looks the pick of the crop: the Grip 2011.

I like mine, and I keep it at work, but the clip has loosened and can be spun around the back, and in fact the whole finial also spoons around. Has this happened to you?

A thing you should have mentioned in the video is the fact that the pen cannot post. Some people like me always check your reviews before buying pens and it would be helpful to mention the post ability.

I agree with your assessment. A nice reliable pen. And it looks different from everything else without being unusual b
