This is the game that made me take Mario more seriously. Just because his games are very very family feel so I never really took his serious yet. And this game feels like a those good action JRPG games. I never beat this game because I was to little to understand the mechanics. But now I’m gonna own this game

Please add a hard mode for new game plus. Normal mode is wayyyyyy easier now with the new triple attack, aoe abilities, and chains. Please patch a true hard mode

love how proudly Nintendo is showcasing just how weird and wacky this game will be. Really feels like they’ve finally started to loosen up a lot more with letting Mario have more unique characters and enemies

Always enjoy this game. Probably played the original upwards of 15 times. Just finished the game in roughly 5 days of playing a few hours at a time. It felt easier than the original because of the triple moves and battling system boosts. The postgame content was a lot of fun with the added boss rematches. If you’re a veteran of the game you may feel dissatisfied but I still enjoyed playing through it with a new look. I’ll eventually replay it maybe not over leveling so much and going all out on armor and accessories next time to make it more of a challenge. It was incredibly faithful to the original. Overall a fun experience.

Can someone fill me in on something? This game is strictly what I’d refer to as battle style, correct? When I looked up the walkthrough of the game it seemed like that’s all it is. Am I missing something? I just want to check before making a purchase. I’m not a fan of strictly battle games but love me some Mario. Even still, not sure I’d play this one if it’s predominantly battle.

One of my favorite games from snes. was able to finish the game multiple times. Miss that mario ult with star jumping in the enemy and u the timing of pressing the button so u can get none stop jumping skill

if you liked this game I highly recommend the paper mario series.. Paper Mario, Paper Mario TTYD and Super Paper Mario are the only good ones. Ignore the rest. They remade Paper Mario TTYD for the switch with better graphics.
