ASRock seemed to reach a high point in terms of performance, value and features here in the B450 Pro4 range, but it seems to have gone downhill since then, so lets take a slightly retrospective look at one of my favourite B450 micro ATX boards of the AM4 platform

Never had an Asrock motherboard so great to see a budget one being availale at this price point and paired with a low/mid spec AMD CPU would be the base of a nice 1080p gaming build. Nice set of features and still relevant while we wait for the AM5 chipset. Thanks Mike and Kath :-)

As Ive said to you before I got my daughter this. Its a great board especially for the price, I got my 2 sons the Gigabyte B450 DS3H at the same time and I really wish I got them the Pro4 aswell.

Great video thanks Mike. My daily driver PC has an Asrock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX/ac MB which has been fine for this non-gamer.

I believe MSI B450 Mortar Max to be a better board than this, albeit a little bit more ezpensive. You get diagnostic LEDs, two NVME slots(if second nvme is installed then the second slot is by 4 only, no sata ports are disabled), 12V and 5V rgb headers, 6+2 VRM

never had a real problem with them.
