Hi Andrew, yes.. why not.. you can play with the highlights or the shadow colors. And you can use the colors to paint the Space marines with the airbrush in normal olive drab because you have all shadows and highlights to work with the "45 degrees" technique .

thank you CnH, I hope it is not so boring to watch it, but I guess to see a little bit about the color quality and how good you can use it for the Airbrush is importand, and not to see how the color looks like. Because I guess we can trust AK - Interactive when they say" this is olive drab " ;-)

Seems like with careful application the set could accomplish the same effects with only 4 of those colors - what are your thoughts, are the sets larger than they need to be?

Hi Billy, thank you for your words !! I guess you need the 6 colors to make a nice transition between the colors....I used the german yellow modulation set for 3 tanks and I was happy to made all 6 steps....and if you want to work with a strong weathering is it importand to work with the highlights. And dont forget, each color is different and has tonal variations to give depth to your vehicle. I wanna try maybe in the future how the lifecolor set is with the 3 color modulation set

part two :) If I would work with less than 6 colors, I would to leave out the dark base.But the set want to give you the option to start with the right Colors
