I was diagnosed with major deficiency with vitamin D. I live in North Queensland, which is tropical and often very hot but we are taught to always “slip, slop and slap” to avoid skin cancer. They obviously need to widen those videos to - but expose your body to sun for 10 minutes a day at a safe time (and perhaps study the best times for us to expose skin).

Man, you have to look at the right research 10000 or 20000 IU is way too low …I take 20,000 every day for 15 years… with 500 mg of K2 …my 25 hydroxy level is 159 ng/dl …I have no problems and I am very healthy….never get sick…got Covid twice with no vaccine…besides a mild headache the first day ..I had no problems…and I am 75 years old…but

Young person can produce 25000IU in 10 to 90 minutes of full body exposure. My friend lives in Cyprus, her number is 130 ng/ml 25-OHD. How is it possibly toxic. I suplement 15000 IU a day. My health have never been better. My number is 95ng/ml

I think the conversions at 8:02 are wrong. For instance, 50 nmol/L is equivalent to 20 ng/dL, not 20 ng/ml as stated (i.e., 1 nanomole per litre (nmol/L) equals 0.4 nanograms per decilitre (ng/dL))

As we age we produce less D. You need to measure to understand where the level actually is. Just taking the supp doesnt mean it has same results in all humans. We are not exactly the same and have diff levels of health. So, it can just be robotic..more to it.

Thank you for the video, just found it. It seems that my research has shown me that level of 70-100 NG/ML is the correct range for optimal immune health.
There is a great video on YT with Dr. John Campbell titled How much vitamin D should I take? A must see!
Plus now the vitamin K2 mixture helps better manage the calcium buildup issue. I take 10,000IU of D3 and 100mcg of K2 each day or every other day. Problem with building up your D3 levels is that it takes a chuck of time, like 30 to 45 days of vitamin daily dosing to see a jump in your numbers. I am curious about the calcifediol version of D3 as it seems to infuse into your body much quicker, it this true and why if you can explain the difference. Having high but safe levels of D3 is ideal for top notch body protection, the body is constantly using vitamin D3 stored in the body, but there’s no way for us to know when our D3 is low, so if you have just standard levels of D3 in your body uses it, then you’re going to be deficient so having a higher level of D3 assures that when the body needs it, it has it available and that you’re not dropping down to lower levels of D3 in your body for your immune system. There are a few companies that you can order a kit to sample your blood and have it tested to check on your D3 levels throughout the year. Thank you

I don’t know any plant that contains vit d .. oily fish / eggs maybe .. but not plants .
You need magnesium to convert d3 to the active form. When supplementing it will increase absorption of calcium from food . You need k2 to transport that calcium to where it should be in the bones / teeth.. otherwise some will deposit in organs and blood vessels or even joints causing all sorts of issues. So d3 / k2 and magnesium important to have enough of.
