Hi ..I am trying to make baby flipflops from your video..I m using 4 mm hook and 4-ply yarn for base ...bt my final base is coming of 8.4 cm only.. should I make one more round of the pattern for round 2 for making it 10 cm or can u suggest another method for it pls? I m making it for 0-6 months baby

I see two years back someone asked for directions to make them bigger. One suggestion is to use a very large hook and some of the really "fat" yarn. This you could use the exact same counts as in the tutorial but would have to experiment to see which hook and yarn would produce the desired size.

Gosh. Thank you. It was great to see a crochet baby sandal in English! Wow. Many beautiful crocheted shoes/scandals but difficult to understand what size yarn and hook were being used!! Although the shoes look great it was unachievable due to the language barrier. This is brilliant - Very clear step by step approach makes it achievable!

I just finished these for my 5month old granddaughter. The first version didn’t stay on very well, so I started the sides on the HDC next to the DC and shortened the straps. Bingo! I wish I could upload a photo. They’re darling! Thank for sharing your pattern.
