Curiosidades sobre o modelo:
O filme Godzilla (Gojira no original) de 1954, é considerado o primeiro filme Kaiju (no japonês significa monstro gigante), um monstro reptiliano anfíbio baseado no conceito de um dinossauro com uma postura ereta em pé, pele escamosa, um torso antropomórfico com braços musculosos, placas ósseas lobadas ao longo de seu dorso e cauda, criado através de testes de armas nucleares, como uma metáfora refletindo os temores do Japão do pós-guerra após os bombardeios atômicos de Hiroshima e Nagasaki.
O diretor de arte Akira Watanabe combinou atributos de um T-Rex, um Iguanodonte, um Estegossauro e um Crocodilo para formar uma espécie de quimera combinada, inspirada em ilustrações de uma edição da revista Life.
Para enfatizar a relação do monstro com a bomba atômica, sua textura de pele foi inspirada nas cicatrizes de queloide vistas em sobreviventes em Hiroshima.
Godzilla: Tokyo SOS foi a única parcela do período Millennium da franquia que compartilha continuidade com um filme Godzilla anterior além do Godzilla original de 1954, ignorando os eventos de cada filme da série, exceto o filme original de 1954 e Godzilla Contra Mechagodzilla.
Como seu antecessor, Godzilla: Tokyo SOS também dá continuidade aos filmes Mothra e The War of the Gargantuas.

This is a pretty cool figure in my opinion.
In the the biggest fan of it, it might be one of my least favorite NECA figures.
It goes pretty awesome if you have the SH monsterarts Kiryu with the blast effect and even a King Ghidorah figure.
This figure would go good in my stop motion with King Ghidorah although it would be used in One or Two scenes.
I like it, it’s just not the best.

I’m painting something similar to this on the original release but it has red blood and I’m gonna resemble the spikes on the back with light blue on the edges
