I purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher that quit after first 2 weeks. Whirlpool replaced over 6 expensive items some serveral times - like a pump over 12 month period. A LEMON and they refused to replace it within warranty 12 month period. They extended out warranty 6 months and of course it died again (stopped draining for the 3rd time) about 5 months into the warranty extension and the repair time was over 6 months so Whirlpool said NO MAS.

Samsung and LG are bad reliability for refrigerator I recommend American brand they are best for price and service, LG 3k fridge failed multiple times with in year and then dishwasher did same. We have good luck with GE they are very reliable as well.
We got Kitchenaid and 10y no issues, wall oven, 5 doors fridge and dishwasher (super quiet). Just added Kitchenaid cooktop. Most repair guys recommend buy American appliances

Well, my whirlpool bottom freezer refrigerator died last week. The repair man told me that right now. There are no good refrigerator brands because they are all using the same compressor and that compressor sucks. He sees no real difference between all the brands right now they are all breaking.

Bought an LG with French doors in August 2021, yesterday the compressor went, I didn’t get an extended warranty but the compressor has a 5 year warranty so hopefully LG replaces it.. stay away from LG

I had an old Amana fridge that lasted me 30 years, aside from a couple of icemaker failures. After the first ice-maker failure, I replaced it, but by the time the second one gave out, it wasn’t worth fixing anymore. Finding a replacement fridge was a pain in the ass, especially with my disability. I ended up choosing a Bosch counter-depth model with a midsection drawer and a lower freezer.
What makes it different from most is that the top section is relatively short, which places the center drawer at about navel height and the bottom freezer around mid-thigh. As a result, I barely have to bend down at all. After about four years with it, I’m still pretty damn happy.
