Does it have master volume ?
1960 5e3 was my first big boy amp.
I'M SOLD TIME TO UPGRADE .......LOVE IT !
I have a blonde Tone Master Twin Reverb. Now I want the tube version cause I like the TM so much. It would be cool to run the pair in stereo
First amp I ever owned. Paired that with a 1952 (year I was born) ES-175, for a Jazz Band Lab that was being started in my highschool. We only had marching band, and Symphony, at the time, but we got a "hip" young student teacher, that was really into Jazz, and he convinced both the Marching Band, and the Symphony Band teachers, to let him try an after school experiment. It started with just one day, one hour, after school. He got enough people interested that it became 2 days per week, for the first year. Our first year's concert was successful enough that they made it an actual school class the following year. Still have both the guitar, and amp, almost 60 years later. And they are in pretty close to as good of condition as when I got them. Though, the tolex has a few extra nicks in it, and the guitar has a little bit of checking, they both clean up really nice. Just wish I could say the same about myself.
Does it not require fx loop
Yummy
Twin on 8 wtf, this guy must be deaf by now!🤣
sounds nice, but for the price there are cheaper amps that give you this sound.
Great demo! What color Telecaster is that please?
To me the best use of this amp was with John and George’s use of it on the Beatles Let It Be album and rooftop concert.
There is no argument. Vibrato and Tremolo are two entirely different things. Trem is like turning the volume up and down, Vibrato is moving the note sharp and flat. No need for the Fender Trem/Verb pedal, since the amp already has Tremolo and Reverb built in.
6:37 that tone is FANTASTIC! I'm so glad I bought one!
The 65 twin reverb has to be the best amp ever produced ,I was 18 yrs old in 65 and I remember the beautiful sounds coming from that amp
wow, his voice is so smooth
How can I get this in India.... can any one of you please help?
How is he sitting next to that with the volume on 8
No earplugs?
Sir what's a good price range for the 65 fender twin reverb reissue I'm wanting one
I would like to use my Fender Twin Reverb 1965 Reissue Amp at home with an attenuator because I want the slightly crunchy sound produced by the amp (e.g. turning up the Magic Knob to 5 or 6) without annoying my neighbors. But which attenuator is best suited for this?
When is the Eugene Edward’s signature telecaster coming?
One of the greatest amps ever made! I just wish I could turn one up without peeling paint off my neighbours house. (Let alone my own.) LOL
Very nice and full presentation. Nice guitar playing. Thank you, long live Fender! 😉.
I think after the video we're all thinking how the hell we can play this at home without making the neighbors calling the cops every night
I turned the magic knob and all my windows shattered
What are the mics being used to record the amp?
I really hate that it is not clear that this is a reissue in this video. a real '65 is another beast entirely.
I only came here to see what settings you use haha. Mine is super bright! 👂 💨
Is twin reverb amp good for clean guitar with sustain playing in this video https://youtu.be/7cjVs_xd6Fw?si=vqKu7QnO5AIqS3eG
I just purchased the Vintage ‘65 Twin Reverb, and I love this amp. I have two strats, a ‘98 left handed strung right handed, my favorite by the way and a Hendrix artist series. They both sound great through the Marshall’s but the Twin and Stratocasters together? Heavenly! The’65 Twin Reverb improved my sound by ten billion percent. Let me tell you, this baby packs a punch, a little on the heavy side, nonetheless a quality product in construction, sound and design. I would have preferred an option for handles on the side though. A Vox V846 handwired wah, a univibe and sometimes Fuzz Face lets me zero in on my own unique sound. I’m looking forward to experimenting with other pedals in the near future because this amp is so user friendly with pedals. Just talking about it got me itching to plug in! Fender, you have a great amp! Keep up the amazing work!
Hello Eugene. What's the the guitare you are playing with this amp ? Tks
Hello, how do i get reverb without the vibrato please ? Any possibility to use channel 1 with reverb only ? I want the cleanest sound possible with reverb and without that vibrato/chorus tone.. thank you !
Go to Harbor Freight and grab some hearing protection before overdriving a Twin Reverb naturally. Nothing quite like it though.
divine sound
Amp "expert" 🤣😂 he was not born at Fender blackface era......I use Bassman 1965, lead guitar player Twin 1965...somewhere in Europe....no way to post my picture of our Kennedy group (formed one week after assassination ) on this BS site ☹
Am I wrong to think that the fender 65 twin reverb sounds better than Mesa boogie Mark Vii?
Yikes, that was a BAD DEMO! Hire a better guitar player Fender!jeepers
I read somewhere that Jerry Garcia and Bob Weir used Fender Twin Reverb amps on a lot of Grateful Dead albums in the 70s.
Love the tone
I will never buy another Fender amp, Fender has been in the business longer than anybody. Still don't have modern technology, still using the old type USB connector on the device that has it. Most of the devices don't even have USB, much less Bluetooth. What a shame, Positive Grid Sparks amp is the way you should go more for your money? You can download any tone that you want That actually sounds like the real thing. With Fender you only get what Fender puts on their list. If you want anything else, you have to put it in one step at a time after you find something that will work and hope that it might sound correct after wasting 30 minutes of time.... No more Fender for me, All this thinking that Fender and Gibson is the best. It's b*******, there's some good stuff out there these days that don't cost you arm and a leg Fender and Gibson has been soaking up that gravy train too long... Too much overhead. Need to get rid of a bunch of corporate people that is just riding the clock, people are finding it out faster and faster these days...
just nothing better than those fender clean tones
I’ve bought my ‘65 Reissue the first year they came out, around ‘92 or so, if I remember. If I turn it up past 2 it seems like the windows and my ears are going to blow out. I already have permanent tinnitus. How on earth did you ever turn it up to 8 indoors? The Twin packs such a huge clarity clean punch it’s phenomenal. It’s a lifetime amp.
I have one of these. Love it. But why would this guy do a review of a reverb amp and then use a reverb pedal?
Just bought one and I know made the right decision
cual reverb están usando para que suene así de genial ?
Fender bring back the vibroverb!
💙
Which pedal in the first part?
Tengo una pedalera zoom g5n que emula igualito este sonido del Fender twin
I’m asking for help from all you wonderful people on how I can get the effects and settings the guy used in the beginning of the video, I love the sound!
I hate fleetwood Mac
I would love to have this someday! It would be best if Fender added a Master Volume for the Power Amplifier section so that we don't get chased out from the house by our own families!!!
Anyone know how this amp is with headphones using an XLR?
Twin, the best amp on the world
Will it sound good with a 7-string guitar with a mick thompson pickup?
Alert the neigbors hehehehehehehhe
Please, can someone here help me decipher the year and month of manufacture of my Twin Reverb? The Serial Number is AC093182. The quality assurance plate has the inscription DL. Thank you very much!
85 watts folks…..
Best amp
that is the nastiest reverb I've ever heard. I can't believe this is the official demo!
The reissue is nothing like the real one none of the reissues both on Marshall or fender are the same they are not handwired they are a little Computer board. It's like getting ripped off with the phony copy
I really like Fender guitars but I never own any of their amp just because I don’t like the logo. I prefer the standard series guitar headstock logo, without the outline 😘😘😘
Awful review!!! The first 2/3rds of the review it seems you are single picking with a telecaster on the bridge pick up... so sharp and twangy sounding... did this amp no justice.. maybe just strum some open chords to allow the viewers to hear the warmth and clarity the amp is supposed to deliver.. hey.. at least we got to hear a slide guitar at the end.. that really help me get a feel for this amp... Jeez!! 🤦♂️
good sound
I've never figured out the Twins are incredibly loud thing. LIke many of you, I"ve had a slew of 50-100 watt amps (with various speakers) and they're almost ALL loud, and 2-12 tube combos from any make are heavy. I used to play with a pair of Super Twins (180 watts), so 320 watts into a pair of 4x12 cabs. Loved the sound but sucked toting all that stuff around. Now I use a pair of Fender PRRI's in stereo which sound wonderful, but not like the Twins were. Load in/out is much easier though.
And the most important of all: where in the world is it made (I mean where are the components manufactured and soldered together - I don't mean where is it assembled) ?
be forewarned when you crank these they DO NOT stay the same volume as they do in this video
I have a code 50 I want to upgrade the 50 was for me as a beginner do you think this is a good amp to update to? I play a lot of distortion/ dime bag darels wah, what do you guys recommend someone who is past the beginner stage?
When i was 18, my 1st "real" amp was a Fender Princeton Chours. These amps had the red knobs on them. They were made after end of the Paul Rivera-era Fender amps. I remember the Twin and the Dual Showman tube amps back then. Greg Howe played a HM Strat trough a Dual Showman stack. Robin Trower played Dual Showmans too. In the 90's i remember seeing a guy play a PRS thought the Power Chours combo amp.
Yes Will and Janice Dean:) Will right???
I hate this kind of guitar style playing. I mean I hate it.
Q: Is this amp actually manufactured and assembled in the US or it's a chinese product? I would look for the real thing. Are the parts made in china? Is the amp is made in the US and is it hand made or some robots put it together?
Why ru running ambient effects when deminstrating
Often cited along with the Roland JC120 as the quintessential reggae amp but I think this sounds significantly better than the Roland.
Totally caught the Fender Marine Layer Reverb on Special/Variation 1 in the opening sequence.
What’s up with all the extra effects?
I am FenderAmp Lover FOREVER!! I own Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III - This is a beautiful story how he got his own Twin Reverb and also amazing video!!!
I have one, loud as a be-otch
nice
Does the twin reverb have an fx loop?
I love my Evil Twin. That thing is monstrous. Cranking that thing to 11 just before soundcheck always scares the hell out of the sound guy but it must be done. Then I bring it down to a respectable 2 and play a great gig. I've borrowed my dad's Twin Reverb for few shows to the same devastating effect.
Mine will be here in a couple of days. I'm so stoked. Love this video
Just bought a Twin yesterday.. For a lot of us coming from a developing economy, owning a Fender to start with is a dream. I imagine myself in my 60s when I finally put my feet up and retire, still playing the Twin just at a lower volume 😀
I llike Fender Amplifiers and cable. Best of the best.
Just scored me this amp! $1,199.00 brand spankin new... fender tags n sticker still attached. From a consignment shop. This is a great amp and with just a few pedals like the intro here, and on 4, 5, volume the windows in the house shakes n rattles. Im feeling great about the purchase, not to mention the great deal i got it at saving me about 550 bucks! Love this dam amp.
The intro playing was the absolute best part of all the playing in my personal opinion. Well, now i know exactly what amp im buying to play my new American professional 2 tele through!👍

The 65 Twin is amazing
He must be def in his right ear
The king of fender amps and all amps and the King of clean 🔥💯
What was the guy who sold him the amp thinking of amp or AMPLIFIER ! ...
I sure love mine! ❤️
I appreciate the captions. That is indeed upbeat guitar music.
You can't beat a Twin
Fender, these videos were a smart investment. I’ve watched these countless times. Although I can’t afford a Fender handwired amp right now, as soon as I can I’m buying one. Thank you! I love these videos and I think that Eugene might just be the perfect spokesman for your products. He is amazing.
love me some sparkle reverb
while i cant afford that amp right now, i'm gonna steal some of this man's licks
I need that metallic paint Ultra Strat in my life.
