Now Roland just needs to get Dennis DeYoung from Styx to do a Styx song on this keyboard for a commercial.
April 29 2025
ok this look epic but the doubt is if the keybes will follow the sound/function quality and...PRICE please Roland 200$ for the 3 I beg you
April 29 2025
This looks cool! Looking forward to seeing an in-depth demo of layering sounds and how to use the sequencer to record songs. Is it possible to make your own patterns without backing tracks? Thanks!

I am sure this Guy already knew how to play the piano, anyway good acting at least!
April 29 2025
It sounds good. And finally a real Roland and not a rebranded Medeli product.
April 29 2025
I just cannot believe this even has a JD piano inside, if this look cooler, I’ll sure buy, how come it looks so amateurish
April 29 2025
That’s a touching video Roland! Home run. Good job. Thank you.
April 29 2025
tell me Roland, why would I spend 400€ in this if the FP 10, Yamaha P125 cost the same? and Casio ct s1/400 half of that? please reconsider the price of this wonderful instrument

A flagship sound engine in a budget arranger keyboard. I wish I knew this a year ago.

I guess my question is, “can one actually download zen core patches that one has designed and transmit them to this hardware?” That would actually be quite appealing, snarky “Bad Gear” comments aside. I don’t get the single mod/pitch wheel thingy, but who doesn’t want a fucking teal keyboard?
April 29 2025
Oh WOW this is a great instrument! A real Roland keyboard. Looking forward to all the reviews on YouTube.

I love Roland/Boss products. They do make the best stuff (especially for synths) in my opinion. However, their product videos always give me a chuckle. From a marketing standpoint, I’m sure this video will appeal to some, so I get it, but the metacommunication I perceive here is “buy this keyboard and become a cool musician” when the reality is learning music is a hard, albeit enjoyable, process that takes discipline and work - LoL. I’ll probably end up buying it. Hahaha.

Can you layer sounds, or is it the same as the gen 1 with only preset layers?
April 29 2025
The outline is too square. A rounder outline would look better and be safer.
April 29 2025
Great, we also hope to have a simplified functions, smaller size and weight, cheaper version, thank you
April 29 2025
Roland is always the king and is always ahead in production and technology, only one thing has been bothering me for some time (pitch band) why it destroys the originality.
April 29 2025
Does the Go:Keys 3 have an audio output to connect it with a mixer / audio interface or only a headphone-output?
April 29 2025
What is the speaker output power rating for Go Key 3 and 5? Are the sound quality at least as good as old Roland E-09?
April 29 2025
So this guy bought this keyboard and already learned a song on it :) while it is not even available in stores yet. :)
April 29 2025
I love the new engine and features of the GO:KEYS 3 and I want one - except:
I also want the ultra-compact form factor of the original GO:KEYS so it fits comfortably into my tiny bedroom studio
Help me decide

But crucially, does it have proper Midi out? Too many new keyboards lack midi connectivity and often require connecting to a computer to achieve that or an expensive usb midi host unit. Can it connect to any of the Roland Boutique synths?
April 29 2025
Ick, only USB MIDI. Knew it was too good to be true. No way they were going to sell it for $350 without purposely making it bad at something.
April 29 2025
Well I ended up purchasing one. Go 3 MU easier to read key labels.
It has a large offer of sounds, with very good quality. You can edit sounds to some extent (ADSR, filter, modulation, pan, effects). Styles are very good and have a modern feel.
New Styles are available for download on the Roland Cloud, but sounds are paid, alas... The build quality is very good, all buttons have a good response. The screen is small, but easy to read and informative. Some menu diving but not overwhelming. The keybed is firm not to springy. All around fun to use. The chord loop function is great, a feature found only on some high end keyboards, and is a very usefull tool for learning. It records midi, and audio (you can overdub previously recorded audio). It would be nice if an audio loop function was implemented like on the Roland VR-09 (you can import a drum loop and overdub with bass, chords, etc.) hours of fun with that feature. All in all very happy.

Nice keyboard, ugly music. It is advertised as the keyboard of not musicians
April 29 2025
April 29 2025
everyone talkin bout the keyboard but i wanna know if i can listen to the song it’s playing
April 29 2025
Can I overlay recorded tracks?
Recording drums as first and then add another instrument.
April 29 2025
Roland is finally back with their ORIGINAL arranger keyboards instead of being a
Medeli rebrand
April 29 2025
Roland could you please expand the locations to store more styles from the Roland Cloud on the Go Keys. It is limited to 50. 256 would be great.
April 29 2025
and when will a synthesizer from Roland come out with auto accompaniment of a higher level than go keys 5 with a large number of styles, etc. in the region of 800 dollars, like the competition for the Yamaha PSR SX600???
April 29 2025
Give us two rotary controls for MIDI control of any DAWs and you’ve got the ultimate do-it-all keyboard the studio world misses
April 29 2025
Sensacional! Você teria como mostrar como funcionam as expansões do Roland Cloud, de preferência de pianos? Obrigado desde já.
April 29 2025
Question: How can I assign the ctrl pedal into a volume control for my organ sound for my go keys 5?
April 29 2025
I wish the 5 had the teal color way :(
….maybe I’ll just dismantle it and use spray paint…

So I have been playing on my fp-30x for a little over a year now, and just heard about the Go series earlier today. I bought the Go 5 and it will be delivered tomorrow but where the heck are the gig bags or cases for this thing? I am really surprised and confused that Roland doesn’t seem to sell any gig bags for the new go 3’s and 5’s. They have been out for what 6-9 months now and the main selling point and benefit of this particular keyboard is that it is super portable. I need a case that securely fits this thing for when i travel with it to jam with friends or for busking.

Why did they change the name of Style pro42 from "Urban Resonance" as shown in this video, to "Techno Soul" in the actual keyboard?
