I think whoever came up with the file filter bracket idea should get their ass kicked (provided they are alive).

Honda deemed this filter a “lifetime” item. Even the technicians at the dealer had trouble with these.

I’m having problems tightening the filter at the bottom I tighten and tried starting the car and the fuel was leaking. Was it bc of the washer or the line wasn’t tighten enough ? Please help quickly

Exactly why they put and cram it in so it takes longer to fix or change, but it is a good video you did.

Is there not an aluminum crush washer on the bottom bolts as well?

Thanks for the great video. The service manual (page 11-92) has some torque specs for those interested: - The banjo bolt is 22 N-m (2.2 kgf-m, 16 lbf-ft) - The flare fitting on the bottom is 37 N-m (3.8 kgf-m, 27 lbf-ft) - The bolt holding the filter in the filter clamp is 9.8 N-m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.2 lbf-ft, 86 lbf-in) - The similar bolt that attaches the filter clamp to the frame does not have a torque spec listed. It would probably be similar to the other filter clamp bolt, but how would one get a torque wrench in there?

If only those japanese bass-turds had put a flare fitting where you can reach it. Thinking of cutting the line down below.
