Very upsetting for Apple to do this. It was a Christmas gift and had no idea there was no way to plug it in. It caused a great deal of stress and tears. Why on earth did they neglect to include the C Adaptor? How cruel!

It’s hard to believe that Apple would not only switch from the tried and true Apple connector to this POS usb-c connector and not include the corresponding charger or at least include an adapter so that you could use a REGULAR usb charger!

If anyone owns a Nintendo Switch fully charge it and plug the watch in there and it’ll charge the watch. It may work on most usb-c ported devices but the switch is what worked for me. Good luck!

I happen to have a iMac computer with the C ports. Before I purchased the new adapter I thought I’d give a try to charging watch off the laptop. Extremely fast! I can charge a very low watch in much less time than it takes for me to do one of my many zoom meetings. In less than 1/2 hr watch is ready go! And I saved the $ not having to buy an adapter.

YEA I just got a Watch 7 yesterday and I feel ripped off. It came with a USB-C and the battery was/is completely dead,. I ordered and must wait for a USB-C to arrive in the mail Instead of being able to use the older USB-A connections that the previous watches and all computers and periferals use, and I that I have. I CANT SET UP MY NEW EXPENSIVE TOY ! Boo Hoo APPLE !

Unbelievably stupid customer service! Spending the time to set it up, looking for the time to read and enjoy it ••• the rep didn’t think of informing me about the charger type. I was there !! Why not sell me the adapter! I now have a beautiful watch without a charge. When the rep states he is going to set everything up and forgets an important part•• makes me question the training… was it the individual ? I usually do my research before a purchase but I got lost with the sale and set up. I am going to have to be more thorough about the ALL items necessary! Poor customer service and poor consumer knowledge.
