shampoo that doesnt “emulsify” or foam up is a better shampoo than one that does you just dont need to mix it with water and it works wonders the foaming affect is only added as a placebo to other shampoos

I always shampoo my hair twice. It emulsified better the second time because you’d already washed it once. It would’ve also emulsified better if you put it on your hands first, did the same thing you did the first time but it would’ve been more foamy either way simply because you’d already used it once. Shampooing twice is a godsend to me. Most shampoos without the harsh sulfates don’t lather a whole lot so my hair doesn’t feel clean unless I do it twice anyway haha. Most the time super foamy shampoos have a lot of sulfats and is bad for your hair.
Plus it seems wasteful to try and suds the shampoo before putting it in your hair...
Do ppl do that?

I know this is an old video.. but some shampoos I only take a smaller amount to emulsify, apply to scalp, and then go back and repeat for the rest of my scalp. Otherwise it would never spread properly lol. Maybe that was part of the problem?
