Also, make sure your camera on your phone is not dirty or smeared make sure it is 100% perfectly clean before you record and make sure you have a phone noise cancelling turn off cause phone noise cancelling sucks

pro tip, get you phone onto a clamp style mount, and use the front facing cam. The magnet is nice, but simply clamping it in is still very easy, and you can benefit from the much higher quality front cam. His videos look good, but you can make it even better. You just have to know how to position it so youre in frame. Worth it IMO.

Just throwing my question out there, just in case I get lucky :D My wife has been wanting/wishing for a simple/cheap way to record herself voice only. What way is the best for doing that? For the best sound for the cheapest and easiest to use? (She wants to record herself while she guide through a meditation session.) She has been using her phone, but the sound is far to bad and she dont want to keep holding it etc etc. :D
