Make sure that your plant is not root-bound. If your Bird's Nest Fern is root or pot bound then pot it in nice well-draining soil one pot size up. Make sure to water thoroughly.nnIf you are noticing yellow leaves or translucent leaves, you are probably watering it too much. Scale back and let the first two inches dry out before you water.nnThe number one issue with Bird's Nest Fern is watering in the middle which will cause 'nest rot'.
