RPM gauge = tachometer. I went to buy one at the parts store. I asked for a universal tachometer, and the kid looked at me like WTF. I went to another store, told the story, and that guy did the same thing.

Nice truck I love it. But that 2.8 has to be one of those most crap motors ever made lol. The 2.5 and the 4.3 were both incomparable. The 2.8 had the power of the 4cyl and the weight of the 6. Crazy weird they used that motor. Anyways it’s still badass!

My experiences with the 2.8 that, while it is a dog and can’t do faster than 80 on a good day, they are very reliable if you keep up on your routine maintenance.
