Have you checked the anti-static foam sheets are actually electrically semi-conductive? I recently purchased some from the same website but a different vendor. The sheets look almost identical to the ones you purchased and they claim to be anti-static but unlike the real anti-static foam these sheets turned out to be totally non-conductive black dense foam and totally unsuitable for ESD protection. ☹

... and plenty of datasheets to find too. It is likely now that these ICs are harder to find they will become more sought after, and the technology of more interest [to some].
