I got this at Restore for $5. It had no price on it and neither me or the cashier knew what it was and with how rusty it was they just gave it to me for $5. This example is in great condition with its original cord, however the plug end has been replaced, there is a rubber foot pad missing, and the motor needs to be taken apart, have all the dust blown out, and then be re-greased and oiled. Oh and keep your feet and pets away from the bottom.nnNot much is known about the Kisco fan company and there is not a lot of documentation out there. As much as I could find was that the Kisco company was founded by William L. Kisling who sadly passed away in 1965, and his son in 2015. He never made anything other than these style of fans, although his blower fan arrangement did find use by HVAC companies such as Trane for a time. This particular model with its early simple name badge pre-dates the "Circulaire" branding by over a decade (which also gave it a new emblem). This model also was succeeded by another model with a much taller frame.nnWilliam L. Kisling seemed to be in the boiler business and it looks like the reason why he invented this was so it could be placed near a furnace duct and help circulate the heat from the boiler more efficiently throughout the room, or in summer time, to be placed in the middle of the room or near a window to help keep the air in the room from being stagnant and stuffy. nnVideo filmed on: 9/20/2019 7:00-7:01 PM
