My exercise bike bolt was stripped, and i accidentally had the bolt on without connecting the right wires to the screen that tells you the time and carloie burn count this was the only way that worked to remove the stripped screw thanks so much this method is a life saver

Didn’t work for me but I couldn’t hammer it effectively because it was a car license plate screw and was afraid of damaging the car with impact vibrations, etc.

I just did that tonight on a motorcycle part. Worked a treat.
I had a wallowed out 4mm Allen....grabbed a torx that fit the hold extremely tight, hit it with the whammer and pulled it right out.
