Cat 8 only goes 93 feet. Where is 40 GBPS used? In the next 20 years rarely will networks need more than 1 GBPS. Why does it it go from 1 GBPS to 10? Why not 5?

note to self and whom ever may need it: counting from the left the 568A is only different from the 568B because the first cable is swapped by the third and the secound is swapped with the sixth thats y i suggest memorising the 568B colour code

I have a wisp network I switched the main cable from cat5e(3ft) to a cat8(100ft). I had very high jitter around 300 to 1000 my ping would jump from 31 to 70 after switching my jitter is now steady at 2 and my ping is always at 15 what caused this? No shield in the cat5e?

If your crossover cable is too short, you can connect it to a straight & both will be a crossover cable
If you connect 2 crossover cables together the result is a straight cable.
