The locking nut is reserve threaded. nRemove the two red locking clips and set them aside for later. nSeparate the arm and elbow.nThen remove the mounting nut. nThe mounting nut is reverse threaded, right for loose, left for tightnThe handle can be mounted in various ways: angled mount, front mount, and side mount. nInsert the handle assembly into the tank hole and secure the nut on the inside of the tank.nAttach the elbow at the angle shown.nPosition the arm parallel to the front of the tank then attach the lever arm to the elbow. nInsert the locking clips.nThe clips can be installed on either side.nTo attach the flapper chain, clip it to the lever with minimal slack.nDo not pull the lever arm down to attach the chain.nYou may need to cut the excess chain.nIf the chain is short of your lever arm try adjusting the elbow’s angle like this.nReplace the lid u0026 flush your toilet to make sure the toilet bowl clears properly.nThe lever should not touch any other parts in your toilet tank.
