I would just throw random coffee that was ground for drip coffee in my espresso maker and I tamped it down with the lid of a supplement bottle and naive me is all like, "Woah! This is some classy

First, horrible comparison, second you stamp without knowing your coffee grind size, offcourse it’s stall. Use correct pressure when stamp, and also when extract it, you will get unique flavour.

For coffee making, it is the extreme Pareto model: 1% of the budget will yield 99% of the results. 99% of the budget of this 4000 USD coffee grinder is spent to achieve the last 1% of results.

4k should’ve grinded coffee, make me any coffee I want, come with robotic arm(s) to hold my cup, and wash my cup after I finish my coffee. And AI built-in for whatever reason.

pit a $4000 grinder vs a $15 grinder. There is zero fucking reason a grinder should cost 4K. Like none. Except being able to say, “I have a 4K grinder.”

well, when you use a mortar, whatever you are grinding sticks to the mortar, that is the trick for tasty Mexican food, we always use our traditional mortar and pestle (molcagete y mano) to grind all the ingredients for the multiple salsas so all the time there is always remaining mixing in with a new batch of completely different ingredients.

April 26 2025

  NergiganteTheGreat

btw guys, before you say your 30 dollar grinder can do the same, theres a difference between home, and commercial grinders, home grinders are cheaper but usually have retention (which is coffee grounds getting stuck in the machine), less durable build, and recommended to be used about 1-2 times a day, commercial grinders have a much more better build with usually close to no retention and grinds consistently, dont worry tho get a good handgrinder like the timemore and its good enough, helps work out your wrist’s to heh

April 26 2025

3
  fox_gaming6702

U can use this method for turkish coffee
