First, horrible comparison, second you stamp without knowing your coffee grind size, offcourse it’s stall. Use correct pressure when stamp, and also when extract it, you will get unique flavour.

Imagine being a coffee channel and not knowing how to correctly grind and make a coffee without a 15k setup

For coffee making, it is the extreme Pareto model: 1% of the budget will yield 99% of the results. 99% of the budget of this 4000 USD coffee grinder is spent to achieve the last 1% of results.

4k should’ve grinded coffee, make me any coffee I want, come with robotic arm(s) to hold my cup, and wash my cup after I finish my coffee. And AI built-in for whatever reason.

pit a $4000 grinder vs a $15 grinder. There is zero fucking reason a grinder should cost 4K. Like none. Except being able to say, “I have a 4K grinder.”

I normally would chew it to a mash n spit it in a cup n pour hot water.

Now test that 1 of 1 stone grinder that Weber sold, I want to know if it’s as good as an electric grinder.
April 26 2025
the "T" is silent in pestle my guy.... think about words like nestle, whistle, bristle, hustle...
April 26 2025
the reason why coffee grinders cost 4k$ is that there are idiots willing to spend them, bragging too.
April 26 2025
the really fine grind and the oil on top is a signature of turkish coffee, it is my preferred way to drink it

Proof that nobody has taste buds that are going to substantially detect a 4 THOUSAND dollar difference

Comparing a car to a bike, they both will get you to your destination but one is more expensive, more comfortable and faster

Gotta sift the grind from the bowl man get a specific screen size for the grain size you desire will prevent the clogging from happening
April 26 2025
so for excellent i use a $4000 grinder and for " not that bad" I use a pestle and mortar, got it.
April 26 2025
I use a spice grinder I found in the back of my cabinet until it "looks about right"
April 26 2025
well, when you use a mortar, whatever you are grinding sticks to the mortar, that is the trick for tasty Mexican food, we always use our traditional mortar and pestle (molcagete y mano) to grind all the ingredients for the multiple salsas so all the time there is always remaining mixing in with a new batch of completely different ingredients.

Motar and peatle kinda guy here, i would t pay $4000 for that thing!!!
April 26 2025
Idiots will buy anything if they get told its gonna make their coffee taste better
April 26 2025
This is a dumb test but regardless that is not how you use a pestle. Lol. Never go to Asia.
April 26 2025
20 minutes was too long, maybe 5-7 minutes, but way more aggressive, get it in your lap and really push hard and churn it
April 26 2025

btw guys, before you say your 30 dollar grinder can do the same, theres a difference between home, and commercial grinders, home grinders are cheaper but usually have retention (which is coffee grounds getting stuck in the machine), less durable build, and recommended to be used about 1-2 times a day, commercial grinders have a much more better build with usually close to no retention and grinds consistently, dont worry tho get a good handgrinder like the timemore and its good enough, helps work out your wrist’s to heh

So... I could mimic a $4000 grinder with a mortar and pestle, plus a fine sieve?
April 26 2025
Yeah, if I had a $5000 espresso machine, I could chop my beans with a knife and still get a good shot lol
