Tried the Russel avocado and it is extremely creamy but it lacks a lot of flavor comparing to the small avocados. It’s like waterweight instead of flavor. Cool to try for the first time but not really to grow and keep. Would grow the flavorful smaller ones.

I live in the Avocado City, Fallbrook. He’s 100% right. If you’ve only experienced the traditional Hass and maybe a Bacon. You’re missing out! Here in town the local candy shop makes fudge from the buttery varieties of the fruit instead of butter.
