The spray is the most disgusting substance. Used my friend’s once, same brand, in 2007 when I needed a touch up & forgot mine I was covered in welts for almost a week due to a reaction with the sun. This is lazy sunscreen when cream doesn’t take work or my skin off.

there is not a quantifiable amount of evidence to show that chemical sunscreens are unsafe or ineffective. sprays can also be incredibly useful as an adaptive product for those with mobility issues and for quick reapplication for busy schedules and people who wear makeup.

Mineral sunscreens make your skin appear opaque fyi. Maybe healthier for you but it does have a pretty big aesthetic effect depending on what you’re doing in the sun. Honestly best bet for big time sun exposure is UPF rated clothing (with sleeves and legs) and enjoy not worrying about these creams and lotions

I work at a resort and watch people spray this stuff all over their body. Only you’re not, you’re spraying over half of it in the air, and it’s not magically spreading over the surfaces either. You’re spot sunscreening. Stop using spray sunscreen, it’s a huge waste of money and you’re covering a quarter of your body.

It all comes down to its CONCENTRATION! Low concentration is safe for many chemicals. At high concentrations it is toxic. Its basic science and if this dude cannot comprehend , geez ..

Chemist here…. You don’t want to use isobutane anywhere on your body. This chemical is a theorized endocrine disrupter and has yet to be fully evaluated (likely because it’s in so many profitable products)…. Here is a study where they point out that it has warning signs but not fully evaluated:

Actually, isobutane won’t posher your gas grill, it doesn’t produce enough heat. And yeah, just don’t breathe in when you use the sunscreen. The cloud of powder from your bag of protein shake probably isn’t good to breathe in either.
