- The original GameCube version is infinitely more detailed. The fire and torch effects are more realistic, the lightning in the rainy part of the church exterior is more beautiful, the water in the lake has dynamic ripples and is not just texture. This remake is very bad, it failed to bring the original level of detail to high definition, they only improved the textures but reduced the number of enemies on the screen, decreased the quality of particle effects, the fire is simpler, the explosions are less present, and they removed the original scenarios. For veteran players, this remake is not to their liking.

Nothing can beat the the old re4,The music,the voice over of characters,the enemies were far more interesting in the old one,i only liked the graphics,didnt find anything special,ashley looks like a model
