Agreed, double ristretto in milk seems to be the only way to get good coffee out of a pod machine. Assuming your pod machine has a ristretto setting

Changing the brew time instead of the grind is not how you do it. It gives you the opposite effect. It makes ristretto more sour. And longio more bitter. Lazy barista do this

It’s all drama honestly. End of the day it’s espresso. No one can honestly tell any difference and this is from someone who makes a living doing coffee.
