I wish they’d have made the track cover more opaque, maybe pho dirt or just black, the slats mean that you can see the boom rail constantly which kinda ruins it when they clearly can do it with the cannons.

as a usj season pass holder, i rode this yesterday twice. since i stood single rider line, i sat back row both times and it sucked. u cannot really see the effect and even in the front seat, very difficult. to maximize the effect, front panel of the cart has to be much lower. about 30 cm lower

This ride is as much of a decoration and something that provides entertainment to the land as it is a rollercoaster that you can ride. Watching it is an attraction in and of itself

I think the gimmick of this one is pretty cool. I had a good idea the other day of how Universal UK could borrow the concept for a James Bond coaster: mimic the famous Union Jack parachute jump from The Spy Who Loved Me. Make the riders think they’re going off a cliff only to survive. Then again, I might just be thinking too hard about a coaster gimmick that might be relegated to Donkey Kong.

Completely agree on the jank being a good thing!! I am partial to jank, but it honestly compliments the theming! I do think this ride is destined to have a similar fate as Tron. Over-hated because of the hype/gimmick and wait time… but a damn fun ride
