This is the absolute worst. All he did plus all the proper steps and itd be a good job. This is just make a video. No cleaning sealing surfaces, used part, no new seals, coolant on the ground and no torqued bolts. Yeah, real profesional......not.

It took me 4 hours under the miami sun with water and shade breaks in between, first time for me on a q5. Everything came out perfect. Thank you for your quick teaching. Now, I need to figure out how to exchange a 2017 A4 B9 oil pan from plastic to aluminum.

So we just did the water pump replacement. Added the coolant but it seems like it’s not circulating the coolant. Now the AC doesn’t work, neither does the heater. I’m thinking the system needs to be bled but I’m lost here.
It’s a 2011 A4 B8 2.0T

Awesome .. glad to see you’re putting videos out again .. the shorts are fine but they are exactly that “short” yeah same pet peeve with me with the belly pan screws and wow I’ve never seen one with the two front screws missing next to the headlights.. we’d love to see the balance shaft replacing as a full video.. all that oil in the belly pan probably crappy sealant job on the timing case.. nice bumper video.. I have a Q5 to do oil pump on would love to see service position video

Sir drops a lot here. WOW! I woulda spent about an extra hour just picking things up off the ground, or fishing them out of tight spots. Luckily I would be working sorta towards the middle of the car. Maybe the things would bounce outward. most likely not. Ty! good job.

I did water pump and while I was there I decided to replace the oil cooler and oil filter housing gasket and finally upper timing chain cover gasket. In process had to remove alternator, power steering pump and AC compressor, Also I changed the antifreeze reservoir. So your 25 min video became 3 days job for me. New union seal between water pump and oil cooler leaked when i put antifreeze, had to take water pump out and put old union back. I am now a home certified technician. :) Total cost around 400$ CAD, 3 gallons of antifreeze included

I have an aluminum intake manifold and wanna take the throttle body off so it makes it easier to replace the water pump but i dont have a new metal gasket for the throttle body. If its in decent shape can i just re use it that metal throttle body gasket?
