I lost 50 pounds on Monjouro and it regulated my hormones and I no longer have insulin resistance but I stopped taking it because my hair started falling and my insurance no longer covered it. I do wish I would have taken it longer but smarter. Also I did gain 20 pounds back.

Youve got to give me something better then that Dr. Ive tried many times all the things you listed and they never worked. Tried keto for 3 months! it made me so tired and exhausted that when i came off of it i had a blueberry, avocado, and kefir shake and that gave me so much energy but the next time i made it i got a little less energy and so on and so forth to where now i can barley stomach it. However still nothing ever works. I got on mounjaro and it work. It is the ONLY thing that has EVER worked. The thing that sucks abput mounjaro is that i am usually against anything from the pharamacy so i know it has to be toxic. And also my mouth taste lile sulfur which is prolly not good. And the heart burn is insane so my doctor tried to put me on PPIs but you know i aint taking that cr*p. So for the heart burn I just eat an apple or take a spoon full of mustard but it can still sometimes be bad even when i do that. I can see the whole stomach Paralysis which sucks but i just drink alot of water and take a stool softener . Ii know that mounjaro is prolly doing some damage but it works and its the only thing that has. I used to go 4 days without eating to not even lose a pound so yeah im going to continue the mounjaro

I love all your advice, but in this case, mounjaro is amazing!! I’ve tried everything to lose weight and this is actually working. I always eat healthy and exercise a lot, that made me lose 8lbs in a year- which is rubbish. Not only has mounjaro helped me lose weight, I’ve been in agony with my back for 10 years. Within 1 week of taking mounjaro, my back pain went. Like..disappeared. I’m in the UK and it’s £120 ish a month here…I save that in buying less food a month. I adore all your advice, but this time, I have to disagree that there is a “natural” way to create the same impact. I don’t even have side effects…well I guess I do, if you count the disappearance of my inflammation in my back. I’m still on 2.5 and won’t be going up unless I really need to. Personally can’t recommend it highly enough.

I was on the keto diet and using berberine with intermittent fasting for 7 months and lost 50 lbs but my fasting blood sugar never really got below 105 and my A1C never got below 5.7. Now 3 months on tirzepatide (aka compound Mounjaro which only costs $200 per month) and my fasted blood sugar is 75-80 and my A1C is 4.6 So while I agree that some natural plant based remedies do work in conjunction with a low carb diet I think it’s pretty far fetched to claim that they are anywhere near as effective or even remotely close to a direct alternative as mounjaro. I know it’s taboo for the holistic all natural herbal crowd to ever acknowledge any good that comes from big pharma does but to deny the effectiveness of these drugs kinda hurts your credibility. And if I have to spend $200 a month for the rest of my life to stay on it… so be it. I spend more than that on streaming services between Netflix, Hulu, hbo max, spotify…. Is it not worth more than tv? As for long term side effects…. Who knows but can it be worse than the effects of chronic high blood sugar?

When I think of “NAUSEA”, I think of a little tummy upset. What I experienced with Ozempic was totally throwing my guts up until I couldn’t throw up anymore. Yep… I experienced this many times. I switched to Mounjaro. So far so good. Only a little diarrhea, but better than painful constipation.

I tried Berberine and it made me so so sick. I started Zepbound 5 months ago with minimal issues and have lost 50 lbs. for me it’s taking the food noise away. I now think of what foods will fuel my body the best in a smaller quantity.

Cannot believe it’s $1000 in us and £120 in U.K. . I know 5 friends that have been in this and stopped and none of them have put the weight back on they all have a healthy diet . I’m on it myself now have two stone to lose and hoping once I finish. Can keep it off with healthy diet and Berberine . I am insulin resistant and haven’t been able to lose weight in 5 years no matter how healthy I eat or excercise. I’ve lost 5lb in a week and already feel much better so here’s hoping . No side effects either just very mild nausea

I agree with you for the most part. One thing you are missing is that Tirzepatide at the least has an impact on cravings. So I have done intermittent fasting, eating slowly, drinking plenty of water and being more mindful. But then somewhere along the journey I become tired or my willpower slips and a mess up for a week or several weekends. now while on the medication I do not have those periods of failure and changing my habits are a bit easier too. I am on the lowest possible dose right and losing weight a bit rapidly.

The drink has fruit in it. If you just drink fruit smoothies every day for the rest of your life first thing in the morning you’re going to have better habits and you’re going to lose weight! Everybody knows that fruit helps you lose weight, fruit has vitamins, fiber, hydration, minerals, and it’s nature’s food! Stop falling for these stupid scams and just drink fruit smoothies every time you wake up. It’s not hard. It’s common sense people. Use critical thinking.

They say: “Mounjaro works to help keep your blood sugar levels from getting too high. Mounjaro works in the following ways to lower your blood sugar. “ It was prescribed by my doctor and I lost 100 pounds. However “My health insurance” company does not provide payment for removal of the excess hanging fat/skin. How is this healthy? It isn’t!! I have to ask myself & so should anyone planning this weight loss program the question: “Are Big Pharma & Doctors prescribing this weight loss medication to all diabetics and the health carriers not completing the treatment plan??“ I exercise daily, walk miles, eat healthy but the excess weight of the skin lined with fat just hang and are heavy on my body! My back is starting to hurt. My hanging stomach weight alone is over 25 lbs. and my breast is the same. There is no way to get rid of this unhealthy heavy skin without surgery. I am beside myself. This is causing anxiety as well as depression because no matter how hard I exercise to try to lose this hanging fat it doesn’t go away or tighten. I am wondering how many others with health insurance are struggling with the same issues. I would also like others to be aware that this is a very serious issue especially for all who suffer with diabetes.

I have on these for about 3 years. Ozempic and Mounjaro. Nothing but pain. My weight is the same. It does regulate my A1C. I am going to the ER today hoping it’s not worse than diabetes. So I lost no weight but I’m in extreme pain where I have had to call off work constantly like today. I know people that have lost plenty of weight. I’m so frustrated! Actually angry! And not to mention the SULFUR burps!!! Try working with people while having this

Long term(after 2+ years) Muscle weakness, loss of muscle mass, erectile dysfunction, Prostate enlargement, bladder control from this as well.. heart problems, lung/breathing issues, shortness of breath and low PulseOx and endurance. T2 Diabetic, I didn’t lose much weight (I was intermittent fasting before and was at target weight when I started on Mounjaro) .. but it brought my A1C down and my numbers did look much better. No gastric side effects after the first 4 months or so…. But I am always feeling like I am a few breaths from a heart attack and lost all my endurance. (I walk/hike about 8 miles a day normally and do as much physical work as I can do around my property which is Forestry land. Trying to get off it and hope I regain what was lost, before it kills me. I have been T2 for about 10 years and had my Gall bladder removed about 20 years ago. Always been physically active.

I have type 2 diabetes and was on Mounjaro for two years. I stopped taking it a few months ago because I felt so fatigued that I could barely function. My diet didn’t change much—I just ate less—but I had almost no energy, even for a simple walk. A friend had to come over to help me clean because I was so exhausted. On top of that, I started dreading the injections because they made me feel like I was going to throw up, and the nausea lasted for three days. It really impacted my quality of life. Over two years, I lost a total of 22 pounds while on the 5 mg dose. Every time I tried increasing it, I experienced severe stomach pain and almost ended up in the hospital. Since stopping Mounjaro, I’ve been constantly sick. I had a severe two-week illness with nonstop vomiting, followed by two sinus infections that turned into bronchitis—one in February and now again in March. I live in Florida and rarely get sick, so this is really unusual for me. I’m not sure if my body is trying to cleanse itself or if Mounjaro may have affected my immune system.

The problem is the supplements’ industry is so unregulated, we can’t be certain that a berberine supplement is actually made in a factory that’s clean and of berberine that’s not full of pesticides or does not contain any toxic additives. Here in the uk most suppliers are foreign companies and how do we know that they are actually safe and clean products? We don’t. The same goes for vitamins, too. Berberine is expensive and we can’t even be certain that it’s berberine or whether it’s easily absorbable or safe.
