I’m not really a whiskey snob I just like Jack Daniels. I’ve drank it ever since I was 21 and I’m 61 now I’ve had others but I seem to always go back to JD. It’s comforting and nostalgic.

Recently tried JD7 again, but for the money I will still take WT101, OGD Bonded, Early Times, etc.... JD is 80 proof (watered down) and heavily filtered (no finish), there are simply too many better choices for about the same money. If the difference between $25 for WT101 and $20 for JD is too much, maybe you should not be drinking.

This dude can’t be trusted. He never talks bad about any huge brands unless they’re competitors with his sponsors. Jack daniels tastes like rotten fruit. Rotten bananas. Bitter cheap tasting. It tastes soulless like it was made in a huge factory. No doubt they use pure gmo corn and grains to make it and the mash is too sour. Tastes like the cheapest corporate moonshine ever has been aged in artificially enhanced flavored dollar store barrels. Anyone who says otherwise is just looking to not piss off the audience. Be honest and just tell people it tastes like piss. Like you said it’s freakin everywhere. When something is that popular they ALWAYS cut corners. Especially when they don’t follow bourbon regulations. The whole thing just seems like a marketing campaign the elite came up with to poison the south. I wouldn’t be suprised if there’s a bunch of chemicals in it that cause low testosterone like all those beer brands. If you don’t trust beef at McDonald’s then you shouldn’t trust JD. Don’t fall for the movie and music industry propaganda. If they had their way everyone would drink great value everclear and expired Paul malls with no filter.

I would not give Jack an above average value rating, I would actually argue it’s a terrible value. For the same price you can get Evan Black, Evan BiB, Jim Beam, Jim Beam black, benchmark, old grandad etc. tons of bottles that are better than Jack for the price.

Its funny I hate a Jack and Coke because it reminds me of a time I almost literally died but I once drank it straight which is not supposed to and it was oK...deff not the best but its so much better than drinking Makers Mark straight as I rather have a Makers Mark and COke than straight which most people drink straight. Makers Mark has such a fruity taste of Caramel that it lingers in my mouth for eternity that it works well with coke because of its candy like flavor where as Jack 7 regular feels more neutral with no lingering taste

I usually go for the Scottish whisky which i love, but sometimes i go and buy this one nowadays. It´s something else from what i usually enjoy on a dark cold night. I really disliked it in the beginning. But then one evening after been being gifted two bottles, i really sat down and really tasted it. Not both bottles in one go i should say

A bottle of jack on the global scene is very much like a zippo lighter. Better lighters and whiskey exists but the people want jack and Zippo. Give me a bottle qnd a lighter and ill take a group of twelve out to some fine dining in Sicily, twice. my bar does not have any jack but my bugout bag has it. And the Zippo.

I love how jack flavor is the easiest flavor in the world to pick out and still you were so shocked lol. Its cheap , you can get a nice mouth feel and it doesnt light your mouth on fire so you can taste the flavors better. There is a reason it sells so well. On top of it has a very wet thirst quenching finish in a weird way, like how most whiskies dry your mouth out.

Jack Daniels NO7 is a bottom shelf whiskey. Not a great bottom shelf whiskey, but the bottle looks good on a shelf. If Jack was a restaurant,it would be a McDonalds.

I have tried all kinds of bourbon whiskey that cost as much as 250.00 a bottle and no whiskey i ever tried is as good as Jack Daniels Old number 7 for 25.00 bucks per bottle.
