You don’t have to keep taking it apart from the adapter peice just lift the whole thing off.

This machine has been around for years all they did was make it smaller I have the original one that you can even put a small turkey in or a big chicken in and cook it even if it's frozen you can do it this is a machine they just redid it to make it a smaller machine so they can make big money out of $160 the bigger one the original one cost about $80 to $100

When you’re done frying and remove the top part, it must be blazing hot, where do you set it? On the counter top I think it would leave a burn mark? The glass is also hot so where do you grab?

I have a ninja air fryer. Just with the regular basket but I can’t make like a tortilla pizza in there because the cheese or toppings get sucked up to the top of the machine. If I put a tortilla in there to crisp it up, it gets sucked up to the top. I want to know if this has the same issue.

The top has feet that keeps the hot parts off the surface you set it on. The glass has built in locked handles. I have heard the detached top still heats up the surface you set it on.
I’m really considering buying a traditional basket style but one that has a glass basket. That top seems like a PITA vs a handle container.
