i think this should have been released with the 4000 case series. it even explains why the power supply was so close to the hard drive chase as this should have fixed that.

I have installed the RM1200X shift PSU in my PC over the weekend. Cable management and cable routing have never been easier. I highly recommend this PSU if your PC case supports it. The 16 pin cable for the RTX 4090 is also a flat cable and looks great.

Cool idea, but No 12VHPWR native on the PSU? Big miss. My MSI ATX 3.0 has a native one so its just a straight 12VHPWR to the GPUs 12VHPWR.

I doubt there would be enough clearance on the side for compact ATX cases like the meshify compact or the North. Not everybody likes the full size variety. But, if I wanted a full tower this would be an instant buy for me.

seems half assed. like idea is ok but to cheapout on the cables and not use right angle connectors seems like we are swapping one problem with another. we get access but we decrease side panel clearance

For this model, which cases suitable for 3 SATA HDD storage bay and extra space for cooling cases to exhaust heat out of case by back fans & top fans, but not wanted front intake fans to avoid extreme dust coming beyond dust filter? Is there case for my need with this RM850x shift PSU ?

The crosair psu i bought smells bad , even a day after and it still smells , not cause of over heating or something like that because the smell was there when i opened the box (chemical smell) ,
if i had to guess it seems like they coated it with some kind of material , maybe to prevent rust or something , the psu itself is quiet which is great and what i wanted but the smell makes it not worth it

Got my RM1000x Swif in a little bit ago.. very nice PSU and I like the type 5 cables & connectors. its repalcing my old AX1000 Gold which is still going strong but with ATX 3.0 here and alll, I made the jump.

Hello, sorry, as it says on the page, "it must be at least 210 mm (8.3") wide" so that there are no problems with the cables, it refers to when the cabinet specifications say: "Box size : 446 mm x 285 mm x 430 mm (length x width x height)" or in which part exactly is the one that mentions the length of the back part

Got it and it has not enough clearance for nzxt h5 flow v2 for the 24-pin ATX power connector. It has to be bent too much and putting the lid on and off bends the lid and makes it less good to service.
But I could see a 90° version of that cable to solve that.
The others are fine so far.

i have 3 corsair 1200watt psu with the advertised 10 years warranty and i havent been able to get any warranty. ironically it seems that corsair feels that the box and receipt which is made out of paper is more important then the physical item itself which is the psu. btw two of the psu boxes,receipt were lost in a flood but everything else was intact because they were on higher ground. how did i end up with so many corsair psu ? well when you send one for warranty claim, automatically by definition it means you now own 2 psu. btw the third corsair psu was a replacement from corsair because they ran out of the psu for that particular model at the time which is obviously NOT MY FAULT. but i accepted it as a sign of good gesture towards the retailers and not corsair. if i took all 3 psu and threw it at corsair’s boss from a feet away i guarantee you he will need am ambulance.

if you buy corsair psu your pocket gets lighter but your headache increase dramatically. remember 10 years warranty doesn’t mean corsair will provide you with a replacement power supply every time the existing one is sent for warranty claims. technically when you buy a corsair psu your actually buying 2 psu unless your living next to a factory that manufacture corsair better think twice before you spend all that money. imho cooler master sells better psu at a lower premium.
