Durante o jogo, os jogadores compram cartas até que algum deles encontre o gatinho explosivo, que só pode ser detido utilizando a carta de desarmar.
As regras podem ser aprendidas em dois minutos e, depois disso, basta conseguir sobreviver até o final do jogo.
O jogo fica cada vez mais intenso a cada carta que o jogador deverá comprar, porque menos cartas no baralho significam uma chance maior de comprar o Exploding Minion.
Os Minions trazem uma nova carta que permite aos jogadores clonar outras cartas.
