I have the B650M of this, and it is very stable with 7800X3D and 32GB 6000HZ CL30. Boot is very fast and no issues.

hey, great review. Does this board have the coil whine that everyone is bashing Gigabye about? Im on the fence about getting the black version of thos board. Specs look like a great match for the the current core series chips

Is the 2D M.2 SSD heat sink provided on this motherboard better or the 3D heat sink provided on Crucial SSD better. The 3D heat sink wont fit in the slot besides GPU. Kindly suggest..

Hey man thanks for the awesome review, I’m planning to build my first pc so i have few questions
1. When all 4 ram slots are being used does this board still give 7600 speed on all slots
2. I’ve heard about lane switching and can’t understand anything about it through yt videos so do i have to care about placing ssd and gpu on particular slots or something like that
3. I’m waiting for the launch of rtx 5080, will this board will support it?

Better than most full sized z790m. The power solution and thermals are better than full sized MSI and most Asus Z790 boards. Gigabyte has not skimped. No issues at all running the top end LGA1700 cpu’s with the right cooling.
