Would kill some one who came on your property and cut your trees down to haul them off for profit and shot your animals for food to fe3d their families if you had no backs like neighbors of police?
They were protecting their property. Too bad the loggers crossed the line. They sent a message - Don't do it again! Everyone needs to step back and work out a plan to not do it again.
The commandment, thou shall not murder has been translated as thou shall not kill by those who see any homicide as murder . The excuse I'm just doing my job doesn't absolve the civilian railroad workers delivering Iranian missiles to the Russian troops from being legitimate targets along with the ammo dumps. When the lumber companies destroy the environment, the food and water of the people living in the jungle for millenia, they doom them to a slow death : murder for profit .

Well if the gov. didn't want them to be contacted then they shouldn't be logging there.

I think there should be land protected for the indigenous people living there that should be left alone. It is their home. They can manage the land in other places and get the lumber they need elsewhere. As you said, would you want a lumber company moving in and taking all the trees and forest on your land? Hell No! Too bad so sad if they can’t bloody manage the forests and jungles in their own country! The need is a big issue, but you have to watch for the greed of these big companies and governments! The little guy is caught in the middle of it all every time.😊
G'day Mr.Salyer. We live in a House. The natives live in the Jungle. Both are Homes. That said it all. Mum and Dad are quite sad, they both lived there. Love the people but there's nothing that can be done to change the situation. How many Natives were displaced or worse. Fair enough that they are clearing the forest and not firing any bullets, it is still extermination.
The illegal loggers have historically killed way more of the indigenous people than the other way around. Poison sugar left as a “gift” is a favourite tactic due to the lack of evidence left, and the lack of a need to hunt down individuals. Shotguns are also used commonly. This makes it difficult for the indigenous tribes to distinguish legitimate loggers from their potential killers. Also, according to Paul Rosalie, a prominent conservationist and author who runs a charity called junglekeepers, most of the loggers are from around these areas and as such are loggers due to lack of job opportunities. Junglekeepers pay these loggers up to three times their normal wage simply to stop logging and preserve and protect their home. One last thing. Uncontacted simply means that they know we exist and have had previous contact but want nothing to do with us for one reason or another.
I feel that a lot of companies, and not just logging, have a tendency to get what they can, and if it is free, without the property owner knowledge, the better to reduce "overhead". I had a buddy in the SW Arkansas region got through several years legal battle because a logging firm came in a took about 2 acres of trees without his permission. Got to protect the homeland, whether forestry or homestead. Thank you and God bless.
Being a LEO involved in an OIS, you really need to understand the Biblical meaning of ‘murder’ before using it so loosely.
Murder is murder. But do we know the entire story? From both points of view? Self-defense is one thing, but from the outside looking in, this appears to be murder. Currently in vogue is "but it's their culture and we must respect it" , and then again, murder is murder.
If governments have given them absolute freedom and rule of the land then I believe they should be able to defend it. However preserving their way of life while ours is controlled is horse hockey. I say we upload someone into an Avatar and let them infiltrate the tribes and learn their ways and negotiate a peace but then destroy their home tree.

This is a very hard question to answer both sides have been done wrong. The tribes are not just losing land but the food they feed themselves with and medicine they use for treatment along with resources to shelter themselves. Being un contacted maybe they don’t understand murder the same way we do. Again hard subject to pick a side

Sad situation all around. The loggers are doing their job and the Natives are protecting what they perceive as their land.
Those people are kinda like what we call mountain people / hillibillys... Good reason to always be armed ,sxs12ga comes to mind for this situation tho.

I believe they are doing the right thing by trying to sttop the loggers .... on the other hand the loggers are doing the same protecting family .on the morel side thats the natives homes theyre wrecking ?????
killed by tribes? it probably does happen sometimes but when it is on the news, i dont believe it out until proven otherwise. Sounds like the same agenda 2030 propaganda they have been pumping out for centuries, surveillance and tracking of of every land living being and storing their personal data on servers. Do not have blind faith in any news source.
