This was the perfect set for my from my favorite film of the series.

The Chewbacca is nice, but I really love what they did the the C-3po. I will definitely pose it with 3po facing forwards. Great review!

The C3P0 you may be looking for is the one that comes with Babu Frik. I liked the eyes gimmick on that one a lot.

I love this set. It is my display piece. I’ll borrow the fully put together 3PO if I need it. I am realizing the shelf space is going away. It’s nice because it’s like a droid holster. Holds all the pieces in one place.
This Chewbacca is alive in sculpt and paint just because of the eyes. The other figures look okay with the non-real D paint figures. But those eyes take this to another level. I know they will do this same figure down the road, maybe a tweak here and there. I’ll buy that. But I’m gonna get a bit more picky.
All these previous 3-PO and Chewie figures may become custom fodder. I want the rude white droid, that silver one in Phantom... sure. I want Black Krrsatan and he’s unlikely to be made. I have a few Chewie figs to try that out.
Great set. Should have been $40.

I have 4 Chewbacca figures on display in my collection at the moment. One for the Force Awakens, one for the Last Jedi, one for Solo and one for the Original Trilogy. There is also a much older one in a box under my bed. They are all slightly different and serve a different purpose.

i got this as a gift from someone for christmas. but, that netting was such a pain i decided to just place them next to each other instead going through crap of trying to do the whole 3po in a backpack net thing.
also if you decide to pose him that way in the netting. you may want to give him either his right arm or left one on his torso like it was in the movie.

This Chewy has one less stomach swivel than the other ones so that could be why it’s just a bit shorter. I think all the other ones have two stomach swivels (edit: @ 10:33 the Solo Chewy only has 1 torso swivel too, and he appears to be the same height as this one). Also, in the movie C-3PO is transported around with his right arm attached, so for accuracy sake that’s how I have mine situated in his net. Great review as always!

Great review Robo! The only Chewy I have is the Solo version but I think his head pops off and maybe then you can slide the strap across his chest and under his arm? Either way a great set and the C3PO is a definite upgrade over the TFA one. A must buy for me, lol.

Wish they gave Chewie the bowcaster too. Were back to the silver lower leg and gold foot, the way I remember it. In starting to think there may be something to this Mandela Effect thing.
