Why are you making so many of your gaskets in China now? Every gasket in the latest set I got from felpro was made in China. Are these blue press in place gaskets as good as OEM?

Could u put gasket sealant in a hole where the valve cover screw broke? If one screw broke would it cause a leak even with that sealant in it.

I used Fel-Pro for my Elantra 2008 valve cover gasket and I never see this video. This is just common sense, not a rocket since. 50 K miles and still good, no leak at all.

Another fel-pro video said not to use any sealant at all on valve cover gaskets. Need to verify which it is a dab in certain spots or none?

I have a 1996 Buick LeSabre. I’m installing a new water pump. Do I need a gasket sealer for this application? I’m asking about a gasket sealer and not so much about a gasket maker. If so, what product would be recommended? I’ll be using a thread sealer as well. Thank you.

I find the quality of Fel-Pro Gaskets have gone quit a but over time. Such that the make them so as not to actually fit in the grove of the Valve cover tightly. Which results in making the install much more work and as such you have to use RTV to hold the things in place. Recommend putting RTV every 3" and at the ends of corners and one in the corner.

i been working on cars thru the years and i try to always use felpro. the people that use cork love the smell of rtv sealant . if im not mistaken they quit making gasket remover spray. it makes it hard to remove old gakets. very time consuming.
